This is the worse experience I have ever had!!!!! I had the privilege of speaking with Josée... not really! She refused to speak English. Now I am French speaking however as a Bilingual Province I EXPECT to be served in the language of my choice. Not to mention that this is a medical clinic. Though this being said, it is a for profit facility, with a $60 consultation fee, just to see a nurse, who may or may not recommend a prescription. When I asked on time frame, she rudely told me to call my doctor. Needless to say they won't be getting my family as clients. There are better places to spend my money. :(

Very disappointed with the experience with this clinic. There is a yellow fever (YF) vaccine shortage affecting the whole country. The YF vaccine is a requirement for our entry into Bolivia from Peru for an upcoming trip. This clinic receives 10 doses each month, that they divide between their 4 clinics. As far as I know, they are the only clinic in NB receiving the YF vaccine at this time. We had been on a waiting list since February to receive it. Two weeks ago, I made contact with the clinic again - I was getting anxious as we are leaving at the beginning of April and had been told previously we should be called when they received the vaccines at the beginning of March. When I called, they told me they had 8 doses left, and we were #5 and #6 on the waiting list now (we were initially told we were second in line, but they bump you down if someone calls - even last minute - and has a departure date prior to yours). The lady I spoke with reassured me that we would get the vaccine from this batch and told me we would be called for our appointments by the end of the week. By Friday, I had not heard from them. So I waited until the following Tuesday and called them again. They called me back Wednesday and told me they had given away all the vaccines. We'd have to wait for the next batch, in April, but yet were not guaranteed to obtain one. We were now "first" on the list. Now at this point, this meant nothing. There was 2-3 weeks left until the new doses - if they did indeed arrive at the beginning of April, and anyone could call in the meantime and say they had an earlier departure date - they don't verify this... They did not with us anyway. I find this process extremely unfair and stressful for people who are prepared and contact them first. If they could guarantee that we'd still receive the vaccine in April, I may not have minded getting bumped down the list for someone who called them at the last minute, but this was not the case. They wanted me however to go and get the Typhoid vaccine in the meantime - I declined and said I'd wait to have them both together not to pay visits fees twice. Finally I contacted a travel clinic in Halifax, where the nurse had 5 doses left and set two aside for us. We drove to Halifax and received all the vaccinations we needed and had great service. I definitely can't say the same for this travel clinic. While I received courteous service on the phone when I did reach someone (they were very hard to reach), the whole experience was just stressful and I have been told inconsistent stories on when they order and receive the vaccines. They did not follow up with me after bumping us off the list and giving all the vaccines. I feel their process is just unfair and if you have options, take your business elsewhere. This yellow fever vaccine shortage will not last forever, and from my experience I am sure other clinics would value your time and business more than this one. I called them Monday to let them know I received my vaccine and can be taken off the list and asked for a supervisor or someone in charge to call me back. The lady said someone would contact me shortly. I just wanted to share my feedback on their process and how it was stressful. Yet, almost a week later, I still have not heard back from them. Somehow, I'm not surprised. I feel that's how much they value clients. Christine.
